Us
We are a multi-ethnic church that believes and preaches that JESUS IS ALIVE today. We are formed by a group of people who are madly in love with Jesus Christ, value life in community, and believe that God has called us to live out our faith in the city, families, homes, workplaces, schools and friendships he has blessed us with.

We are part of the global cell church movement. We believe a cell is the most basic DNA of the Body of Christ and that Jesus modeled the life of a cell community with the twelve disciples. In a cell group people are edified, cared for, equipped to live in relationships of accountability and love and empowered for their unique gifts and ministry.
We are currently serving in the Gulfton community of Houston and humbly offer our church as a place where those who want to learn about the teachings and person of Jesus Christ, connect and participate in church life as a local family of God, and serve our neighbors in love. Evangelizing the lost and helping the unchurched find community are our passions.

SON is actively seeking the Kingdom of God first and believing God has invited us to see His reign and presence advance to nations starting from Houston, TX.
